WHO

We are the Smiths

Andrew and Anna met in eleventh grade at Webster Christian School. They married in 2017 and were officially accepted as missionaries with Ethnos360 in 2020. Currently, they are finishing preparations to move to Papua New Guinea as a missionary pilot/mechanic family in 2022.

Andrew spent his formative years in Papua New Guinea as a missionary kid, and it was there that his love for missionary aviation developed. Andrew graduated from Moody Aviation with his Airframe and Powerplant Certificates, Commercial Certificate, and Instrument Rating in 2017.

Anna was raised in a Christian home in Walworth, New York. In 2014 she took her first missions trip to Papua New Guinea where she worked with Lori Smith in the SEIGU Medical Clinic for one month. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Pensacola Christian college in 2015 and spent four years working on a PCU in Fishersville, Virginia.

Missionary Aviation

Missionary pilots carry priceless cargo for they transport the only people in the world who both know God and posses the language and cultural skill to communicate His truth to a particular people. Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea, located north of Australia, occupies the eastern part of the world's second largest island and is prey to volcanic activity, earthquakes, and tidal waves.

Linguistically, it is the world's most diverse country, with more than 800 native tongues.

Some 80% of Papua New Guinea's people live in rural areas with few or no facilities of modern life.

Many tribes in the isolated mountainous interior have little contact with one another, let alone with the outside world, and live within a non-monetarized economy dependent on subsistence agriculture.
